Decision Observability

Observability shows whether decision guidance is current, useful, and being applied consistently over time.

DecisionOps is not only about writing decisions. It is also about understanding whether those decisions are still healthy.

Useful Signals

  • revision and version history
  • suggestion activity after indexing
  • repository drift or policy findings
  • repeated overrides or unresolved conflicts

These signals help teams distinguish between a decision that is clear and current, and a decision that exists on paper but is no longer guiding work.
