Using Decision Suggestions

Use revision history and suggestions to improve decision quality after the initial record has been created.

DecisionOps keeps historical context so teams can understand not just what a decision says now, but how it got there.

History

On the detail page, history shows the important changes that happened to the record over time. This includes creation, edits, status changes, and other revision events. Use history when you need to understand whether the team changed the decision itself, its scope, or its supporting rationale.

Suggestions

Suggestions are generated after a decision is saved and indexed. They are designed to help improve the quality and usefulness of the record. Some suggestions focus on document quality, such as clarifying tradeoffs or improving the title. Others focus on operational follow-up, such as adding a review date or updating scope information.

Suggestions do not apply themselves. They are prompts for user action. If a suggestion is useful, apply the change through the editor or the suggestion action. If it is not helpful, dismiss it and continue.

What Success Looks Like

You can explain what changed, when it changed, and whether any pending suggestion still deserves action.
