Governance Model
Governance defines how decisions are approved, enforced, and kept current across teams and repositories.
Governance makes a decision record operational.
Without governance, a record may exist but have little effect on engineering behavior. With governance, teams can tell:
- who owns a decision
- which decisions are current
- how conflicts should be handled
- when review or supersession is required
This model spans the dashboard, GitHub workflows, and repository policy settings.
